Hike #23 2021

May 23rd, 2021

We’ve been getting quite a bit of rain here in Colorado recently and the mountains are looking very lush. Wildflowers haven’t made an appearance quite yet, but I’m sure they’ll pop up soon enough.

After some heavy rain last night and thick clouds predicted this morning (though they faded quickly) we decided to stick to an area we were familiar with. There are 3 trails that eventually lead to the same destination, and this is one of those 3. After today it’s probably our favorite out of them all because of the views.

We began our hike at 5:35am and watched the clouds roll through the mountains on our way up.
