Get to know us…
MAXI
This is Maxi, he’s our 9-year-old Old English Sheepdog, AKA the brown-eyed big floof who wears his hair up in a ponytail. He’s been my (Katrina’s) adventure partner and best friend since the day we brought him home at 4 months old. Some of Maxi’s favorite activities include car rides, eating snow, and enjoying the wind flowing through his hair. Due to Maxi’s age, he doesn’t join us on every adventure anymore, but we’ll always treasure all the ones we’ve been on together.
KHU
This is Khu, she is our small but mighty sheepie. She is 2 years old and has one blue, and one brown eye. Khu’s life has been filled with adventure since bringing her home at 8 weeks old. Her first few months of trail adventures were spent tucked into Katrina’s hiking pack, where she was able to take in all the sights and sounds safely. Similar to the other floofs, she is our go anywhere, do anything, adventure loving dog. Khu is sassy but extremely sweet, and she shows no fear. She intentionally seeks out the tallest boulders to climb, the most difficult routes to hike (even with much easier paths right next to her), and is simply high on life all the time.
Zeus
Zeus is our blue-eyed medium floof. Like Maxi, he too is an Old English Sheepdog. He’s our spunky, happy-go-lucky 7-year-old. We rescued Zeus when he was 1.5 and has been adventuring with us ever since. Zeus loves the longer, more difficult hikes. He loves to lead the pack along the trails but also makes sure no one is left behind. Some of Zeus’s hobbies include chasing the backyard bunnies and squirrels, rolling in deep snow, and playing with Maxi and Khu.
Bella
This is Bella, our part-time little adventure floof. Like Khu, she has one blue and one brown eye. Bella is 4 years old and comes to us as a breeder release due to being deaf. Though she lives with my parents, she joins us on our adventures every so often. Bella is excited about just about anyone and anything and will wiggle her whole body to show her excitement! She loves finding sticks to chew, chasing her fellow floofs, and meeting new people and dogs.
The Humans - Scott and katrina
Meet the people behind this account. Scott and I met a couple years ago when I accidentally barged into Scott’s house with Maxi and Zeus on move-in day at our college housing. Since then we’ve been exploring with the floofs by our side and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
