Hike #28 2021

This evening we went back to one of our go-to locations for finding false lupine’s, which are the bright yellow flowers you’ll see in the pictures below. We went here not too long ago when we still had Bella before she headed to California to live with my parents (see “Hike #25” to read and see our last hike with her for a while). I actually ran this trail after work yesterday to check to see if these yellow flowers had gotten closer to their peak, which they had so we planned to go the following day (today). We only went in a mile and then a mile back again to see the flowers, but it was nice to get out for a short hike!
